Radiology Associates P.C. uses it’s own high-speed “Enterprise Class” Picture Archival and Communication System (PACS), Radiology Management System (RadManager) and a wide-area network to allow radiologists in our Eugene, Oregon office to provide rapid, targeted interpretations on exams performed at distant sites. By digitally transmitting high-resolution images to the physician best suited to interpret or consult on that particular case, patients receive the highest level of radiology expertise in the most convenient way – by having their imaging procedures done close to home. All outside studies are directed for subspecialty interpretation by centralized workflow coordinators who ensure that they are read and reported on quickly to support referring physicians in their diagnosis and treatment.
